Freight
We can ship to virtually any address in Australia & most countries around the world. We offer direct ship to your nominated address – on receipt of your payment, we will email you freight details including a tracking number & link to access online monitoring of your order.

Please note that there are restrictions on some products which cannot be shipped to some international destinations.

Overseas customers will need to contact us for a shipping cost prior to placing an order.

Returns
Faulty Product

Mal Wood Automotive will provide a replacement part or unit free of charge or refund the purchase price at our discretion for faulty products returned to us within 30 days of purchase date subject to:

  • The product having not been damaged or tampered with in any way.
  • Inspection and/or testing by us of the returned product.
  • Prior to returning the part or unit, you must contact us by phone or email.
  • When sending back a part or unit we advise you to use a freight service that insures & tracks the part – we cannot be held responsible for it until it has been received back by us.
  • Purchasers are responsible for shipping charges back to us. We will pay the shipping charges on the replacement product being sent to you within Australia.

Wrong Product

In the event of a Purchaser having ordered the wrong product, Mal Wood Automotive will at our discretion generally accept return of the product and credit the sale price excluding the actual shipping charge (this may be more than the original delivery charge incurred at time of order as we subsidise freight charges) & reserve the right to deduct a restocking fee of 10% at our discretion. The product must be un-opened and in a re-sellable condition, i.e. has not been fitted to a vehicle. If the Purchaser orders a replacement product of a similar or greater value to replace the wrong goods, the restocking fee will also cover the cost of shipping by standard method of the replacement product. Credits are at the discretion of Mal Wood Automotive and are subject to:

  • The product being shipped back to us within 7 days of receipt by the Purchaser. The cost of returning the product is the responsibility of the purchaser – we do not accept “receiver pays” shipments.
  • Prior to returning the part or unit, you must contact us by phone or email.
  • The product and its packaging being “as new” when received back by us. We are unable to accept back parts that have been fitted to a vehicle.
  • When sending back a part or unit we advise you to use a freight service that insures & tracks the part – we cannot be held responsible for it until it has been received back by us.

Please note: Any credit or refund issued by us will NOT include the original freight charge. The amount refunded will be less the actual freight cost to send the product to the purchaser. This reduction may be more than the amount charged at the time of order as we subsidise freight costs.
